Composition:

– Coconut peat
Nutrient-rich and airy peat forms the base of the substrate mix. It contains plenty of micro-nutrients that are important for plant growth and health.

– White peat
Peat is a natural material — partially decomposed sphagnum moss. It has no nutritional value for plants, but it has excellent water- and fertilizer-retention properties, slowly releasing them over time.

– Volcanic clay
Volcanic clay or pumice is a product of explosive volcanic eruptions caused by the violent expansion of gases in molten lava. It retains moisture and nutrients in the substrate.

– Perlite
Perlite is a natural, eco-friendly additive made from volcanic rock. It is porous and lightweight and is a key element in the mix, as it supplies roots with air and water. A substrate with perlite is also easier to re-moisten after it has completely dried out, because its porosity allows it to retain water well. It is chemically neutral and reduces salt content in the substrate.

– Compost
Compost is an excellent fertilizer and soil-structure enhancer. It is an important addition to the soil mix, as it promotes healthy plant growth.

– Bark
Bark adds aeration to the soil. Larger pieces in the substrate encourage healthy root development and make the roots stronger. It also helps retain essential nutrients.

– Activated charcoal
Charcoal stores nutrients in the substrate and increases nutrient efficiency. It also binds and neutralizes harmful toxins that can damage the plant. Using charcoal can also reduce the need for fertilization.
