Our “Semi-Hydro” mix contains:

50% volcanic clay: porous, retains water and nutrients, provides aeration and stability, enables capillary water movement.

25% zeolite: high cation-exchange capacity – absorbs nutrients and gradually releases them to the roots; improves substrate structure and prevents compaction; helps stabilize pH.

20% quartz sand: adds weight and stability to prevent plants from toppling over; inert (doesn’t decompose and doesn’t affect pH).

5% perlite: lightweight and porous, improves aeration and drainage; helps draw water upward through capillary action.

Amount: 3 L

Instructions for use:

1. Rinse the substrate under running water to remove fine dust particles.

2. Clean the plant’s root system and plant it in a washed pot filled with the Semi-Hydro mix.

3. Water the plant and allow the bottom of the pot with the substrate to sit in water.

4. When the plant uses up the water from the saucer or decorative pot, refill it with water mixed with a small amount of liquid fertilizer (¼ of the dose recommended by the manufacturer). We suggest using Bio-Grow fertilizer.
