PLANT CARE
Light She loves a few hours of sunlight, but can tolerate shade.
Water Requires airy, nutrient-rich soil with good drainage. Water should always be able to drain freely from the pot. Water the plant when the top layer of soil has dried out. After watering, be sure to pour off any excess water that has collected in the decorative pot, as standing water can lead to root rot. The leaves will curl when she is thirsty.

Common problems and solutions
1. Yellowing Leaves - Most often caused by drought. If the soil is wet, it may be due to root rot, which prevents the plant from absorbing water. If the soil is dry, water the plant. If the soil is damp, remove damaged roots and repot the plant in fresh soil.
Tip: Avoid using a pot that is too large, as this can sometimes harm the plant—unless the soil dries very quickly and roots are already visible from the drainage holes.
2. Bare Stems (Leaves Falling Off) - Leaves often fall due to inconsistent watering or pest damage. Cut the affected stem and root it in water. The cut section will grow a new shoot, and the freshly rooted stem can be replanted in a pot.
3. Leaves Dropping at the Base - Usually caused by lack of light. Move the plant to a brighter location.
4. Leaf Fading - Caused by nutrient deficiency. Use a mild NPK fertiliser once a month, or in very diluted form with each watering during the growing season. Leaf fading can also be caused by too much light.
5. Common Pests - This plant is generally pest-resistant, but can occasionally be affected by: Spider mites and thrips: Look for sticky leaves, discoloration, fine webbing, and tiny insects. We recomend preventitive use of neem oil.
