PLANT CARE

Light     She loves a lot of bright, indirect sunlight. She will enjoy some direct sun in the morning or late afternoons but avoid harsh midday sun.

Water    Keep the soil consistently moist, but never soggy. The plant should be watered approximately once a week, in winter once every ten days should be enough. If the soil is still wet after this period, the plant is either not getting enough light, or the type of soil or pot is not suitable for this plant.

Common problems and solutions

  1. Yellow leaves on the bottom - This is natural process for this type of plant. She will drop some of the oldest leaves when growing new ones. Its very common in colder seasons. If it's happening ver often she needs more light. Check the soil, if it's wet check the roots to see if the have rotted.
  2. Brown leaves or tips - probably the sign of too low humidity or improper watering. Raise the humidity or check the soil and roots.
  3. Slow growth - plant needs more light or/and fertilizer for growth. Try this.
  4. Pests -  Discoloration on the leaves with silvery sheen, brown spots or fine webbing - Thrips and spider mites will love to suck the life out of plants like that. Get rid of them, try showering the plant and use neem oil.

Pro tip     Use grow lights if a lot of leafs turn yellow.
