\u2013 Coconut peat<\/strong>
Nutrient-rich and airy peat forms the base of the substrate mix. It contains plenty of micro-nutrients that are important for plant growth and health.<\/p>\r\n

\u2013 White peat<\/strong>
Peat is a natural material \u2014 partially decomposed sphagnum moss. It has no nutritional value for plants, but it has excellent water- and fertilizer-retention properties, slowly releasing them over time.<\/p>\r\n

\u2013 Volcanic clay<\/strong>
Volcanic clay or pumice is a product of explosive volcanic eruptions caused by the violent expansion of gases in molten lava. It retains moisture and nutrients in the substrate.<\/p>\r\n

\u2013 Perlite<\/strong>
Perlite is a natural, eco-friendly additive made from volcanic rock. It is porous and lightweight and is a key element in the mix, as it supplies roots with air and water. A substrate with perlite is also easier to re-moisten after it has completely dried out, because its porosity allows it to retain water well.
